Sexiest Movie Ever Without Nudity

Updated on July 22, 2012

You ask me what was the sexiest movie ever and I automatically reply, "Body Heat". In 1981, the world was introduced to Kathleen Turner in her very first film. It had a huge impact on me as well as thousands of other movie goers. Turner was the epitome of sexuality as Matty Walker, wife, lover, murderer and impostor.

William Hurt, small-time private eye is the perfect mark for this ill-conceived plot which involves getting rid of Matty's wealthy husband played by Richard Crenna. Hurt has an accidental meeting with Matty (so he thinks) and is smitten immediately by her good looks and ill-fated charm. She wears a very low cut blouse on this hot and humid night. Enticing to the single, down on his luck private eye, but unfortunate that he takes the bait.

Kathleen is so sexy and provocative that after teasing this poor guy until he is tortured inside, he can not suppress his urges and breaks in her door. The next scene is right out of a Daniel Steele novel, hot and sweaty and passionate, but no nudity. No nudity is required if the scene is constructed properly by two devoted actors and man, were these two devoted to their scene!

Okay, so they were naked, but you could not really see anything with the camera angles stationed properly. But, then you did not need to see the nudity. You could simply imagine it. Point is, the scene was exotic, intoxicating and overwhelming to both the couple in the scene and to the viewing audience.

This woman had a voice so distinctive, so seductive and mesmerizing that she needed little else to captivate her male audience. She drew this poor, willing and unfortunate man into her web and afterwards she could have asked him anything, and she did. She asked him to kill her husband.

Little does he realize that he has been the mark for this project all along. Here is a guy, down on his luck, can not meet his rent, no clients for awhile, nice looking and single, eager for a woman, any woman and especially an easy target for this particular woman. Yes, this woman could have her way with anyone. She was that good.

The plot has just begun. No, it is not simply a tantalizing woman seducing a man into doing the obvious. There is much more mystery to this film and I surely do not want to spoil it for you in the event you have not been fortunate enough to see it. Sit down with your sweetheart, or spouse and enjoy a truly remarkable film. You will never forget Kathleen Turner.
